The linked spreadsheet breaks down all of the subsidized housing in South Etobicoke on a granular level. It details the addresses of all projects and the types and numbers of subsidized units each one has. The same methodology has been applied consistently across all of the data.

The Person Equivalent Capacity Adjustment has assumed that:

• Each bachelor unit houses on average one person.

• Each 1 bedroom unit houses on average one and a half people. This is because some units will have only one and some may have two.

• Each 2 bedroom unit houses on average 2 people

• Each 3 bedroom unit houses on average 3 people

• Each 4 bedroom unit houses on average 4 people

As New Toronto is the area of study, the population adjusted totals have anchored the New Toronto subsidized housing capacity and adjusted the other neighbourhood’s totals in accordance with their population factor relative to that of New Toronto.
